These Clumsy Animals Did It All To Themselves

Animals are funny creatures. One second their gracefully running through your house ready to play, and the next their stuck in the blinds or between the couch cushions. A great person once said, “for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction,” but we’re guessing he wasn’t talking about animals. The adorable cats, dogs, and other animals you’re about to see found their way into their own trouble. They weren’t planning to be this clumsy, it just… kinda happened.

A Loop The Never Ends

This good boi was just trying to bring the ring toy back to its owner when the worst-case scenario happened. He took one false step, then two, and now he’s just not sure what to do with his life anymore.

The good news is this clumsy pup is so cute in his predicament that we just want to help him out. We’re sure as soon as his owner took this pic that’s exactly what happened, too!

Watch Out For That Step!

Aren’t big cats supposed to be graceful animals? We present this picture as Exhibit A that they are not. This one clearly missed a step and he’s stuck upside down trying to figure out what happened with his life.

Meanwhile, the cat he thought was his friend in the back is just watching to see what happens next. No need to lend a helping paw. None at all. It’s fine. Everything is fine.

Stuck In A Stool, That’s Pretty Cool!

Kudos to this pooch for not letting his clumsiness get in the way of his happiness. He may have gotten himself stuck in a stool, but he’s owning it and smiling his way into our hearts.

Our only question is how did this happen? Was he running full speed for a tennis ball and didn’t see the stool in his path? Or was this his plan all along? Probably not, but you never know!

Slippery When Wet

Is anything more beautiful than seeing a flamingo in its natural habitat, walking around ever so elegantly? This bird missed the memo, and a step or two, and fell straight on it’s back while entering the water.

This is why signs that say, “rocks are slippery when wet” are important even in zoo enclosures. Hopefully, a quick trip to the vet shows that there is nothing wrong with this flamingo other than being clumsy.

Standing Is Hard

In one of the more puzzling pictures we’ve seen, this bird either tripped down the stairs and landed head first, or has given up on trying. Either way, this hilarious pet has put itself in quite the predicament.

What happens next? Will its owner help it rise back up to the occasion? Probably, but it might take a second. First, they have to put the camera down and stop laughing so loud!

At Least He Finished First

By the time this doggo came to the finish line, the race wasn’t close. He was going to finish first, but he wanted to finish with style. Then his feet fell out from underneath and he crossed face first.

Woof! At least he planted his face in the sand, which made for a soft landing. Maybe next race he won’t worry about how he finishes. He wouldn’t want this kind of embarrassment to strike twice.

He Overshot The Landing

This fuzzball was looking for some good old fashioned pets and cuddles when he jumped on the couch. Instead, he overshot the landing and ended up in a ball of his own floof.

And now that he’s here, he’s become oddly comfortable. This placement is a good position to nap in. Might as well start to close those clumsy eyes and dream about chasing awkwardly tennis balls. What a goofball!

One Small Step For Puppykind

Puppies are clumsy. Every puppy ever born is clumsy. That’s not an exaggeration either, it’s just adorable. Find us a puppy that’s not clumsy and we’ll tell that it’s not a puppy at all.

Take this pupper for example. Learning to go down the stairs is tough. Even though every step is designed the same, each one feels different. This is the first step this pooch has face-planted into, and we guarantee it won’t be the last.

Making The Best Of A Bad Situation

To the clumsy dog go the spoils of his mistakes. Once the head was stuck in the pool chair something happened. This good boi realized that maybe this is where he was supposed to be his entire life.

With his mind made up, all he had to do was soak up the sun and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. You know where to bring the food, human, he’s not going anywhere for a while.

Cat Meets Blinds. Blinds Win

This cat clearly wants help but isn’t going to get it anytime soon. First, he needs to think about how his human isn’t getting their security deposit back. All he wanted was to look outside but didn’t think about how to navigate those tricky blinds.

Now, this clumsy feline is stuck. All he can see is the floor. What’s important here is you can see the cat’s thought process to get to the window. The finishing move, however, put them in a sleeper hold.

Hello Brick Wall, Where Did You Come From?

We’re not exactly sure what happened here. This dog seems very content to be stuck between a brick wall and a chain-link fence. Like the pool chair pup, this pooch has decided to make the best of his clumsiness.

What’s more curious to us is why this dog is winking at the camera. Again, for as clumsy as this doggo clearly was, we think he ended up exactly where he wanted to be. Help in this situation is not welcome.

Freedom!

Animals don’t have opposable thumbs. It’s impossible for them to open zippers with the same grace as us. This cat is proof of that. All it wanted was to breathe in the fresh air at the campsite.

Before smelling the crisp morning air it just has to let itself out of the tent. Easy for a human. Impossible for a fuzzy feline. Well, maybe not impossible looking at the picture, but not graceful either.

Graceless, Thy Name Is Fox

The beautiful fox. One of nature’s most glorious animals. Judging by this picture, also one of its clumsiest. This fox either fell off the rock it was sitting on or completely misjudged its landing.

The only thing we know for sure is we can’t stop laughing. Thankfully this fox had a soft landing in the snow. It might be embarrassing, but it won’t be carrying any bruises around with it on its travels.

So Close

The panda almost made it down the slide before its natural clumsy instinct took over. Maybe the slide was too long and the bear gained too much momentum, causing it to roll. Maybe it just decided it was time to get off.

Whatever happened, we’re sure this panda didn’t plan on landing on its head. That part just comes with being one of the world’s most adorable and clumsy animals.

You First!

One of these puppies is much less clumsy than the other. Can you guess which one that is? Hopefully, you answered the one still standing on the step. The other pup clearly still needs stairs training.

This picture is peak pooch silliness. Two siblings exploring the house together. One, of course, is a little more adventurous than the other and forgot how his paws worked for a moment. And that moment was all it took for this to happen.

Falling Backwards

Elephants, like most animals, tend to be clumsy as babies. You might not know it from how they carry themselves as adults, but immature elephants clumsily try and figure out how their bodies work every day.

This elephant somehow launched himself backward, and we have no idea how. When you’re a clumsy baby elephant anything is possible we guess, even if it seems impossible. Our best guess is it was sitting down and leaned back too far. Oops!

Where’d That Stick Come From?

It was just another day for this husky running free in the woods when BAM, a stick comes out of nowhere. Suddenly this always awkward beast was stumbling around to keep its balance, ultimately ending up on the ground.

It’s okay, it’s not like anyone was around to capture this embarrassing moment. No animals anyways, just humans ready to make this doggo a viral sensation. When it gets home it deserves a few extra doggie treats.

Living Hurdle

Huskies are not the most coordinated of dogs. But whatever they do, they always do with a smile. Just look at the one hurdling the other. Have you ever seen such a happier dog as it nearly tackles its friend?

The dog on the bottom doesn’t seem quite as entertained, although it’s trying to smile. Once it has been cleared as a hurdle we’re sure the classic Husky grin will return to its adorably clumsy face.

Dog Meets Blinds

Cats aren’t the only animals that struggle with the blinds. Once the clumsy fella got stuck he didn’t know what to do and just kept fighting. There is no salvaging those blinds.

The good thing is this probably wasn’t the first set of blinds this pooch ruined. The expression on his clumsy face says, “I did it again…” Yeah, you did, buddy. It’s all going to be okay, though because you’re too cute to stay mad at.

This Is Not How To Eat Lunch

Like panda bears, manatees are fairly clumsy animals. Roaming the oceans, these oversized animals tend to have oversized personalities, like the one in this photo. It could eat lunch the normal way, but it really just wanted to dive in headfirst.

Now there are a few problems here. First, the manatee is still hungry. Second, it can’t see where it’s going at all. We didn’t know it was possible to go from clumsy to clumsier.
