The Most Clever And Funny Faculty Photos You’ve Ever Seen

Who says faculty can't have fun? They were kids and teenagers at some point in their lives, too, even if it was decades ago. Some happen to channel their youth better than others, and we're here for it. These educators took some yearbook photos that their colleagues and students may never forget. For example, who brings an iguana to a school photoshoot? We have the answer to that, just continue reading and try not to hurt your abs from laughing too hard. These are the most clever and funniest faculty pictures.

Very Important Call

When it's time for school yearbook photos, there better be no monkey business. This is a very important moment that will be how others remember you when they go through the pictures. It isn't a time for jokes.

Unless, of course, someone happens to call you on your banana phone. If that's the case, all bets are off. Answer it and find out what they need, as this high school science teacher did. We're sure it was a very important call.

"Okay, boy, smile for the photo! You'll get the treat after you see the bright flash." We imagine that's how it went down with this dog, but it's an even sweeter story.

This pooch was a school's comfort dog ready to retire, so they put his picture along with the seniors. He might not teach math or English, but his presence is something that the kids enjoy and sometimes might need. He deserves a spot in the yearbook.

Find someone who looks at you the way this English teacher stares at this bird. What's even better is that this was taken on yearbook photo day, so that's how you know his love is unwavering.

Some might call it the best yearbook picture ever. We won't go that far, but it for sure sits near the top if you want to rank it. The way he pokes out his eyes and glares is something the employees at his school might not ever forget.

Imagine being a parent and flipping through your child's yearbook only to discover these two acting like clowns. Would you feel safe as a parent knowing these two are the teachers providing your child with knowledge?

If anything, it lets you know that they have a nice imagination. Another thing is for sure-- we can bet the students enjoy them as teachers with their goofy personalities. Someone might need to pull up their test scores...

Okay, there are two things about this photo that make it special. For one, this man has on a horse's mask. Secondly, he has a bat in his hand and he's standing like a professional slugger.

Had this teacher only used one of these props, it still would have been a great shot. The fact that he doubled up and brought in the baseball bat (or the mask) only makes us wonder how long he had this planned.

Look how creative this batch of teachers became for there faculty photos! If all three of them don't already own wetsuits, then we wonder if they bought these or rented them for the occasion.

Either way, this is flawless execution. There's an octopus, a shark, and they have on their snorkeling gear. Jack, Joshua, and Kimberly deserve a prize for bringing this to life. Hopefully, the rest of the staff appreciated their efforts, but if not, the kids will at least.

Either these three are really great friends, or the two on the outside wanted to get out some anger in photo form. To have this man in the middle reenact what it would be like to get choked out by a snake is clever.

Not only is it smart, but it's also an interesting choice. We aren't saying they have it out for the man with glasses, they might just like him so much they wanted to have some fun.

Saying this history teacher is stuck in the past is an understatement. Who did this guy have to pay off to get his picture grey-scaled? Also, where did he get that outfit from, the thrift store?

He made it clear that he's a history buff with this picture and his colleagues should respect him. We don't see any of them dressed as Bill Nye the Science Guy or with a calculator in their hands. Double points go to this teacher.

Batman is one of the most popular comic book figures ever. To dress up like him for your faculty picture speaks volumes. You're automatically going to get a lot of points with the kids around school.

They're going to request to have him as a teacher for next year after they see the yearbook. Everyone's going to want to have English I with Brandon, the Batman costumed man. He looks a little stern, so it might be best to stay on his good side.

If that's not how this conversation went, then we don't know what they discussed. It almost looks like the guy reaching for the sunglasses might be trying to "steal" them off his chest. With his high, innocent eyes, you never know.

The only thing we can't figure out is what exactly they're tugging? Since we can't see what's in the middle of them, all we know is that they're pulling this rope with no prize waiting for them. Well, we wish them continued success with these funny pictures.

What do you know about consistency? We can't say you know more than this teacher, who decided to wear the same outfit for his pictures 40 years straight. That's a different level of dedication.

After he accidentally did it for a second straight year, his wife dared him to do it again for the third time. He did, and it started to snowball. Decades later and this gentleman is like a cartoon character who never changes his outfit.

Is this the science teacher or what? That iguana in his hand is pretty large, which means he either bought it that way, or he raised it to become big and strong.

If its the latter, then he must have a special bond with the reptile. He looks like the type to have the iguana be the class pet. We're willing to bet that this green guy sits inside the classroom as this man teaches.

The fact that this man showed up on picture day with this helmet cements our comments. This will go down as one of the most iconic photos this school has ever seen in the history of faculty photos.

By turning his face away, he's letting everyone know that he's too good for the rest of them. Mr. Heinz doesn't even need to show his face, but you're going to respect him either way it goes. More power to this faculty member.

The sass that this teacher exudes in this picture is legendary. He had the audacity to slightly turn his back, but also added a pleasant smile. His wife should be proud.

It's not every day you get this level of bravery. The execution of this is flawless. The open-mouth smile is one of the best ones you could pull off while making a statement like this. It says, "Hey, I'm really happy to be doing this!"

We don't know how legendary he became after pulling this off, but we're sure he gained a lot of clout with his former and future students who saw this. The king crown is a perfect touch to add in this case. Kudos to this man.

Understandably, he is a drama teacher, so that explains some of it. He also likes to stay in character for a play all year long. What did they do, Pirates of the Caribbean? That's our best guess in this situation, but it could've been anything.

Someone should help this man with the glasses before it gets too late. While this is an older picture and shouldn't be something that teachers should do in today's society, it's still funny and we respect the creativity of it.

We're betting they had this planned all year, dating back to the previous school year. The looks on their faces say it all. This was the moment each of these men had waited for and it finally came. That's some pretty nice facial hair.
