While pets might be part of the family, that doesn’t stop them from trying to ruin the holidays for everyone else. From taking down the Christmas tree by force to destroying wrapping paper, these not-so-good boys and girls definitely made their parent’s naughty list.
Keep scrolling because these pets hilariously try to ruin the holidays.
The Tree Was Clearly Not Cat Friendly
Honestly, when it comes to cats, the Christmas tree doesn’t stand a chance. At least this tree young up getting its revenge on the kitty, though, falling directly on top of the poor thing.
With all of the ornaments rolling around the floor, this must have been quite the scene for this cat’s human!
No Wrapping Paper This Year
Presents are one of the exciting parts of Christmas. And, to wrap said presents, people tend to use wrapping paper. Well, this German Shepard clearly had other plans when it came to presents.
He was not about to let his humans be wasteful, opting to completely rip up all of the paper, so they had to use reusable boxes instead.
Christmas Morning Picture Gone Wrong
All this poor couple wanted to do was have a nice family picture with their pets. But, nope, that is not about to happen when the dog and cat have unfinished business to attend to.
The cat not only looks like it’s about to throw a punch, but the dog looks as though it’s screaming at its sibling to cool down and enjoy the holiday!
Not Too Happy With His Thoughtful Gift
People tend to be very gracious when it comes to receiving gifts, even if it isn’t something they necessarily would pick for themselves. This dog, on the other hand, couldn’t be less thrilled with his Christmas gift.
From the look on this guy’s face, an ugly sweater was not on his wish list.
The Penguin Had It Coming
This little dog didn’t want to see one of its human’s decorations make it through to Christmas day. Instead of barking at the light-up penguin like a normal dog, this one hilariously decided to ruin the holiday by way of decapitation.
By the look of his face, there is zero remorse.
This Is Now The Cats Candy Cane
This cat’s humans should think twice about taking the candy cane away. If they do, the best-case scenario is the cat will come off the tree and go play with something else. But that’s wishful thinking.
Eating the candy cane is the first step in total inhalation of the Christmas tree and everything on it.
“These Were All My Presents, Right?”
So, were there cookies in each of those gifts, or is the cat naturally that “fluffy?” Either way, this cat didn’t want anyone to have anything to open Christmas morning if the ripped-up wrapping paper and boxes say anything.
Well, at least he looks very happy with himself in an “I have no idea how this happened” type of way.
“It Was Like This When I Got Here?”
This is the face of one guilty dog who tried his best to ruin the holiday season for its humans. Alas, he got caught in the act of tearing apart a bunch of boxes, cards, and even festive books!
That is absolutely the face of a dog who knows their bones are going back to the store and their only getting coal in their stocking.
Just A Dog Not Enjoying The Tree In His Space
Something went wrong during the day for this dog to think jumping onto the Christmas tree in an attempt to destroy the holidays was a sound plan. Perhaps its humans didn’t bring him on a walk, or maybe they took away his favorite toy.
Either way, this dog is not happy and will seemingly do anything to ruin the festivities.
Casually Walking Away As If Nothing Happened
When it comes to cats, the stereotype is that they don’t care. They’ll knock things over without thinking twice about it, even if that thing happens to be a Christmas tree that towers over them.
Seriously, this cat is just walking away as if it had nothing to do with why the tree is now lying on its side!
Nothing To See Here
The best part of this picture is that there is one beagle in the back on the couch who really wants nothing to do with the pooch on the ground tangled in the Christmas tree lights.
Even the dog wearing the antlers is giving him a side-eye that says, “I had nothing to do with this; it was all him.”
Caught Red Pawed Trying To Take Down The Angel
Climbing up the tree only to tear down the angel sounds exactly like something a pet trying to destroy the holidays would do! Only the pet in question is a cat who was caught red pawed in the act of tearing down the angel.
He doesn’t even look mad he was caught, just that he’s going to complete his mission once the human’s back is turned around.
Yea, The Cat Did Nothing…
No, no, don’t worry. See, the cat is just playing with the wood of the table frame. She clearly had nothing to do with why the Christmas tree is on the ground, and some of the ornaments are rolling around on the floor.
The cat is just a little angel. She’s not at all the Grinch in disguise trying to ruin Christmas.
Eating The Christmas Tree Branch By Branch
For many people, Christmas trees are a huge part of the holidays. They stand up in livings rooms and are adorned with ornaments, lights, and perhaps even beads. It’s the biggest and most festive decoration!
This cat doesn’t really see it that way, though, and looks to be making it their mission to tear, or eat, this tree branch by branch.
A Face That Says “I Will Eat Those Tiny Figurines”
If there were ever a cat that embodied the Grinch’s hate of the holidays, it is this cat. Just look at its mad little face.
He doesn’t have to speak to let people know that one wrong move and those tiny Christmas town figurines will be eaten, and the rest of the statues will be pushed to the ground.
Adjusting The Tree Before The Ultimate Takedown
It takes some time and energy to put up a Christmas tree. And it’s even more time to make sure it is centered and not going to tip over onto the floor. Well, this cat seems to think their human didn’t do a good enough job.
They just want to take the entire thing down and do it again. Or, take it down and bring it back outside and throw it in the trash. The latter seems more plausible.
Clearly, No Idea How The Tree Fell
Oh, no, who could have possibly torn down the tree, leaving it on its side in the middle of the floor? Could it have been the cat who is clearly just walking away from the disaster?
Needless to say, there is no way the cats had anything to do with this holiday wreck!
This Cat Doesn’t Want A Tree
Taking “if I fit, I sit” to a whole new level, this cat really doesn’t seem to care that it’s sitting on top of a prickly evergreen tree that its humans haven’t even put up yet!
Clearly, wanting nothing to do with the holidays, this cat is doing its best to ensure the tree never sees its decorated or fully standing in the living room.
This Tree Is Going Down In Mere Seconds
Right here, this is a recipe for an epic disaster. How this cat got behind all of the beads and ornaments and onto the tree branches is a question for another day.
Right now, it’s a matter of making sure the cat doesn’t go through with its plan to ruin Christmas by way of freaking out and running headfirst out of the tree, bringing everything down with it.
No Toys, Only Coal
Presents are a big part of the holiday season. But it looks like this dog didn’t want anyone to get gifts; they were all for her. A greedy little pooch, she ruined the holidays by ripping up everyone’s presents, leaving nothing as a surprise!
Her mom is right; Stella is most likely getting nothing but coal for Christmas.
