Vacation is meant to be relaxing; a time for people to take a break from the hustle and bustle and perhaps snap some photos of their amazing adventures. Unfortunately, for these people, reality decided to intrude on their photographs in the most hilarious "now you're really going to remember this trip" way possible.
This Is A Total Mood
Obviously, this lady couldn't care less that the tide came up, covering a majority of her body and beach chair. Nope, nothing is going to take away from her relaxing beach day!
In any case, this is an epic picture that the family will look back on and laugh at because it is a total mood.
Whoops, That Wasn't Supposed To Happen
The facial expressions of all three parties are on point, with the camel looking overly pleased with itself, the kid about to bawl his eyes out, and the dad hoping his wife won't hurt him for almost feeding the baby to an animal.
At least they have the memory forever!
Looks Like Mom And Dad Lied About Going To Disneyland
These two kids don't exactly look thrilled about being on a family vacation. Oh, wait. The sour looks on their faces are definitely because they're at a construction site and not Disneyland like they were promised.
At least the little girl is kind of pretending to be okay with the situation, but her brother doesn't look one bit pleased.

This poor man. All he wanted to do was take a picture of his ridiculously good catch while on vacation so he could show his friends when he got back home. Apparently, that was too much to ask for.

A Family Picture Was The Last Thing They Wanted To Do
According to Oxford Dictionary, vacation is "an extended period of leisure and recreation, especially one spent away from home or in traveling." Well, these kids clearly didn't get the leisure memo.
While one is clinging to her mom's leg for dear life, the other is on the ground screaming her head off. At least it makes for a good family photo to laugh at in the very far and distant future.
Photobombed By The Creepiest Clown Ever
Clearly, this couple's vacation was cursed the moment they took this picture. A creepy clown that looks like he was one of Tim Burton's Joker rejects shouldn't be allowed to photobomb unaware people on vacation.
Yet, here they are, all smiles with a clown perched over their shoulders. That was probably a huge surprise when they went back to look at the film.

This poor woman! Here she is, in front of one of the most romantic icons in the entire world, and her boyfriend drops to one knee. Only, he isn't getting down on one knee to propose; all he was doing was tying his shoelace!
Note to all people: do not get down to tie your shoe in front of the Eiffel Tower!
So Much For A Relaxing Day
Getting buried at the beach is pretty much a right of passage for a father. But it looks as though Mother Nature had other things in store for this particular person during their fun beach day.
Nothing says "this picture was taken at the worst moment in time," quite like a seagull going to the bathroom on dad's forehead.
It Looks Like Mickey Isn't So Nice Afterall
Going to Disneyland is a right of passage as a kid. They get to see all of their favorite characters, including the big mouse himself, Mickey. As it turns out, though, Mickey isn't as nice as Walt Disney makes him out to be.
Instead of signing autographs and taking pictures, it looks as though he enjoys snacking on little kids.
Hair Is Everything
It's hard not to give this lady a lot of props. She made it to Disneyland with her family, a feat in and of itself. She even agreed to go on Splash Mountain with everyone, one of the few rides where you might be splashed with water.
The one thing she did not agree to, though, was messing up her hair!
When Dad Wants Everyone To Be A Trekkie On Vacation
Family vacations can be awkward and embarrassing, especially if dad decides to do the whole "we're going to wear matching outfits" move. As it turns out, this dad took the matching outfits to a whole other level or universe.

Here we have a parent that wants nothing more than to snap a photo of her children swimming with dolphins. It's a very memorable experience during vacation!

That's One Way To Remember A Rafting Trip
White water rafting is no joke. It's a hard workout and isn't for the faint of heart. It looks as though this person wasn't ready for the extreme adventure because they went totally backward off the raft and into the water.
While it probably wasn't the best experience at the time, it does make for an epic photograph!
Two Bears In The Front, One Kid Out The Back
Road trips are a fantastic family vacation, allowing for multiple stops instead of one location. Of course, some things are bound to go wrong on the road. Here, it just so happened that a mama bear and her cub became overly interested in a car.
The question, however, is why in the world the kid is crawling out of the backseat and who in the world actually took the picture?
It's Fine, She Just Overshot The Bench By A Bit
The thing about this picture is that it would have been nice. Alas, the one member of the group overshot their seat on that ledge a little too much and wound up falling backward.
Of course, at the time, it probably didn't feel too great landing on their back, but the shot makes for a great story later!

Even the poor dogs in this winter wonderland photoshoot are very concerned as to why anyone would want to take a picture in a wagon, dressed in old garb, while posing next to what looks like the abominable snowman.
The photographer didn't seem to mind that the dogs look like they'd rather be anywhere but in the shot. At least it makes for a funny memory.

This poor boy. He's just not having fun on this family vacation. Not only does he have to deal with the fact that he's the only boy in a family of teenage daughters, but he has to deal with them on vacation!
