These Funny Clothing Tags Say A Lot More Than Tumble Dry On Low

Aside from the size, tags are likely to be the last thing people look at when choosing an article of clothing. Typically, all that's printed on the labels are care instructions, so most people don't particularly care, until its time to wash their clothing.

That being said, you're going to want to start looking at the labels a bit more closely after seeing these funny tags! Some are witty, others tell you their life story, and one might just give a salad dressing recipe! Keep scrolling; you won't be disappointed with these labels!

When care instructions for a fuzzy blanket include covering yourself up and drinking a nice cup of hot cocoa with marshmallows, we're not going to improvise! This is one of those labels that makes you smile.

Once you read it, there is nothing left for you to do but make that delicious drink, sit down in front of the television, and plug in your favorite movie. The only issue is, what happens if you spill the hot cocoa? There are no actual care instructions!

Just so we're clear, if clothing companies weren't so insistent on putting those funky symbols on the top of the care instructions, we wouldn't have to give the article of clothing to our mothers!

Honestly, the only thing there that we can decipher is the little iron. And that is for post-cleaning. It looks like we can't really argue with this logic, though. It's probably safer to hand it over to someone who won't ruin the sweater. Thanks, mom!

The issue here is that there had to be at least one case of a parent or guardian throwing clothing in the wash with a child still wearing it, for this label to happen. How this happens, we're not quite sure.

The kid must not have been very heavy if they were just thrown into the wash with the rest of the dirty clothing. So, laundry-doers, make sure you check to see if all forms of life are out of the clothing before washing.

This clothing label makes us think that the designer was checking to see what he could get away with. Obviously, he got away with telling the buyer that he is experiencing dental pain. Huh, we wonder how that slipped through the cracks.

Nevertheless, we hope this person gets some dental care before they wind up looking like John Finlay in Tiger King. Sir or madam behind the clothing tag, there is no need to look like that man, trust us!

It's refreshing to see an inanimate object talking about itself if the first person. So, thank you, article of clothing, for letting us know exactly how to handle and treat you with your lovely care instructions.

The thing is, while this piece of clothing is telling the buyer exactly what not to do, it gives zero indication on what to do! Are we supposed to use cold water or hot water? Are we supposed to use the dryer or hang dry? The world may never know.

Yes, there is a lot going on with the care instruction label. No, we are not upset about the fact that they used a very popular "confused Jackie Chan" meme face while saying "sorry" that the shirt was made in Lithuania and not China.

The good news is that this article of clothing is good for everything! Well, except swimming, it looks like. And thank you, label designer, for telling us the appropriate time to wash this shirt -- when it stinks.

This is the type of animal testing we can get behind. Obviously, the label is just a joke, but it doesn't mean we're not picturing a pooch strutting their stuff down the catwalk in some jeans. Well, it would most likely be more of a waddle than a strut, considering they have no clue what's on their hind legs.

Pro-tip, people: don't try and put skinny jeans on your pets, it doesn't work. And you're just asking for some well-place puncture holes from some tiny teeth! Not that we have any experience with this...

You know you're in the right store, buying the right article of clothing when the care instructions tell you that if you wear it on a first date, you'll do awesome. That's the type of positive thinking we all need in our lives.

Ironically, looking at the cuff of the shirt, it looks more like a sweatshirt. So, the question is, are we going on a first date with our Netflix account? Cause if so, we have to break it to you, that wouldn't be the first or even our tenth date.

If Harry Potter and Merlin have taught us anything, it's that people should not mess with unicorns. We mean, honestly, in the Forbidden Forest, if someone messes with a unicorn, specifically drinking its blood (gross), they are doomed to live a cursed life.

The same goes for Merlin. Arthur messed with a unicorn, and you know what happened? The entire kingdom went to ruin until he righted his wrong. So, moral of the story, don't buy an article of clothing that uses any form of a unicorn!

Again, thank you, clothing care instructions, for telling us exactly what needs to be done. And this label even tells us what we shouldn't do! We'll call that a win-win. The only thing is we don't need your judgment, clothing tag! What if its a bad day and we're stress shopping, therefore frowning.

There's no need to go to a doctor if someone doesn't feel like smiling. Although, we do appreciate the uplifting message. So, just for you, article of clothing, we shall smile and wear you home.

This is another affirmation we can totally get behind! Labeling people isn't something we want to go around doing. So, if someone puts a label on you, just smile and walk away (after giving them a long speech about how stereotyping is a horrible way to go about life).

Take it from this denim piece; don't let anyone label you! Hopefully, every time this person wears this shirt, they're feeling strong and empowered. Of course, with a smile that says, "I know something you don't. And it's my ironic tag."

Obviously, someone at the labeling company had their ego shut down! Instead of "m" standing for the typical medium, this person took it upon themselves to make it stand for "manly." Honestly, if we had the power to change the universal "m" to something else, we would take a crack at it.

This person takes it a step further, though, making fun of the person who is grabbing the medium-sized shirt. It's okay, friend, you'll get to that "L" one day. Speaking of, we wonder what the "L" stands for with this company!

EASTPAK knows its way to a lazy person's heart, with care instructions that tell you what you can do, but, like, it's not necessary. If there's no reason to impress anybody, don't even worry about ironing!

The thing is, once again, this little label doesn't tell us anything about washing and drying! So, this is now the designated "chair shirt." You know, the shirt that isn't clean so it can't be hung back up, but it's not dirty, so it doesn't go in the hamper—the chair shirt.
